The Riff Factory was launched in 1999 as an innovative guitar school with only a handful of students in Roseville, MN. Founders Todd Bergren and Kurt Mahre had a vision to create a music school that was different from all its peers. They wanted to eliminate the reasons that people quit doing something that is supposed to be fun and enjoyable.

Since then, The Riff Factory has grown by leaps and bounds. Todd & Rebecca (who have now completely taken hold of the reigns of the business) have the numbers to back up that what The Riff Factory does is right for learners. We are educating almost 300 students.

We offer many instruments such as: guitar, bass, mandolin, harmonica, drums, piano, voice, and others. As we have grown and expanded over the past six years, there has been but one constant focus: to make learning fun! Our qualified staff makes it their goal to nurture each student at their own pace in a fun and positive environment that will teach them skills to succeed in all areas of life!
